Job Responsibilities :
1: Identify material requirements, identifying and developing a reliable vendor for procurement of materials as well as sourcing components, negotiating with vendors for improving product quality & reducing lead time for deliveries
2: Evaluate financial quotations from prospective vendors and interact with them to finalize rates and provide inputs for their selection based on an in depth evaluation of their financial and technical capability.
3: Keep track of material quality and delivery schedules to meet internal customers and vendors need in an efficient manner.
4: Address queries and concerns raised by vendors regarding Purchase of materials, payment terms, delivery timelines etc. within specified timelines and ensure resolution.
5: Proactively generate leads for new vendors with the potential of providing more efficient services to the Organization and engage with them to generate interest.
6: Evaluate the performance of vendors on a periodic basis in terms of their technical and financial efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
7: Control all requisite activities to perform such as techno commercial evaluation, negotiation, recommendation, ordering, inspection, expediting & tracking, reporting, logistic and delivery, payment processing, etc.
8: Undertake inventory management at Sites, along with the Site Team and supervise accurate and timely stock taking activities; Leverage SAP for the same.
9: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all procurement contracts for the supply of goods.
