Job Description


1: Ensure general accounting activities and error-free book-keeping activities and timely closure of the books of accounts.

2: Prepare and consolidate financial statements for the Organisation in a timely and efficient manner. 

3: Execute day to day activities related to book keeping, updation of ledger accounts etc. 

4: Maintain efficient MIS for final accounts.


1: Handle finalisation of accounts statements for monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounts and ensure alignment to the statutory accounting norms; highlight the status of P&L Accounts.

2: Review the working capital management system including receivables, payables and advances management on an annual basis.

3: Monitor operations and processing of bank-related activities such as transfer processing, cheque issuance, bank reconciliation etc.

4: Work closely with Accounts Department and provide accounting support.

5: Oversee consolidation of financial statements for all group companies/subsidiaries.

6: Ensure compliance with all mandatory Accounting standards and statutory requirements and timelines.

7: Monitor the accounts of the company on a quarterly basis taking into account the financial statements prepared and escalate any deviations in a timely manner.

8: Ensure accuracy in the maintenance of books of account including Debtors & Creditors ledgers etc.

9: Review the basis for significant accounting estimates and nature of unusual, non-recurring and/ or extraordinary items, their treatment and impact on the financial statements.

10: Ensure timely preparation of all required financial MIS and Statements (Balance Sheet, P&L and Cash flow Statements, Budget notes etc.)

11: Make continuous projections for balance sheet.

12: Ensure adherence to SAP reporting requirements and guidelines.

13: Ensure adherence to performance management system timelines for completion of various processes.


1: Knowledge of Accounting Standards and Principles, IndAS implementation.

2: Knowledge in the preparation of final accounts including Balance Sheets, Profit and Loss Accounts, Cash Flow Statements etc.

3: Knowledge of Funds & Cash Flow Management and Balance Sheet.

4: Knowledge of SAP and SAP reporting requirements
